This upcoming year, the Chinese New Year, also referred to as the Lunar New Year officially begins on February 10, 2024. Celebrations of CNY/ LNY traditionally last for 16 days, starting from Chinese New Year’s Eve to the Lantern Festival.
During this session your Girl Scout will:
• Learn about the Lunar New Year aka Chinese New Year!
• Learn about the zodiac!
• Determine your zodiac animal based on your birth year!
• Learn about traditional Lunar New Year decorations!
• Make lanterns

- Construction paper or card stock
- Scissors
- Tape or stapler
